Deployment Notifications

Shipbot.io will automatically send notifications to Slack when deployments happen.

During setup you select a channel for all notifications to sent. This is useful for getting a high level overview of what is happening in your deployment pipeline.

You can also configure notifications to be sent to a specific channel for an artifact. To do this:

1. Create a team in the Shipbot.io app. Select the Slack channel you want to send notifications to for this team.
2. Modify the artifact to be associated with the team.

Voila! Now notifications will be sent to the selected channel for this artifact.
